Coimbatore: The District Health body has stated that of the number of persons diagnosed with Covid, eighty-eight percent of the people are under domestic isolation and only the rest are being treated at the Covid care centers and hospitals.
The incidence of coronavirus in the district is increasing rapidly in the last few days, and the cases reported on a daily basis has crossed 1,000 mark, which was less than 100 in the past few weeks. The Covid treatment centers with large bed facilities have been re-established at the Government Hospital, ESI, Hospital, CODISSIA.
About 88% of cases are isolated in their homes. Health officials said, 'The incidence of corona in Coimbatore is on the rise. No one is severely affected due to which 88% are in domestic isolation. Currently, more than 1,000 people are isolated in their homes and are being monitored by health officials.'
