They are being monitored by 32 medical teams.
District Collector Sameeran said, "Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Coimbatore district and 1,303 people are isolated in their homes. 32 medical teams are set up to treat them at home. The medical team includes doctors, nurses and volunteers working with the district administration. For those who are isolated at home, counselling is given to diagnose fever and oxygen levels and they are treated till they recover. Groups categorize those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection and identify what type of medical treatment they need and act accordingly."
