The special vaccination camps are being conducted weekly on Saturdays in Pollachi. Pollachi town, northern union, southern union, Anaimalai union, and other areas including government hospital, primary health center, special vaccination camp center, etc. on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
A camp was held on 26th December, Sunday, since Saturday was a Christmas holiday. The health department sources stated that 1,265 in Pollachi city, 2,241 in southern union areas, 2,380 in northern union areas, and 3,243 in Anaimalai Union were inoculated in the camps.
It has been informed on behalf of health officials that vaccination special camps will be held in all parts of Tamil Nadu. People are advised to make use of the camps and protect themselves from major infections.
