Stir caused in Coimbatore District Collectorate by man showcasing anti-DMK sentiments

The man had condemned YouTuber Maridas' arrest by writing "Long live Maridas" on his forehead and "Eliminate DMK" on his hands.



Coimbatore: Two days ago in Madurai, the police had arrested YouTuber Maridas for allegedly posting a controversial video and tweeting a comment on a social networking site against the ruling party DMK with intent to cause public mischief.



Various parties and the public have been posting various comments on social media about the arrest. There was a stir in Coimbatore's District Collectorate when a man entered the premises with "Long live Maridas" written on his forehead and "Eliminate DMK" on his hands.



The man was immediately picked up by the police and interrogated.



It was revealed that he was Kandasamy from Perur area. Further investigations are underway.
