Coimbatore: The former National Secretary of BJP H Raja, addressed the press here on Saturday. During the interaction he stated that the ruling party is diverting the public from noticing their failure in handling the floods and have arrested Maridhas as they are scared.

He added that the situation here in Tamil Nadu is same as Kashmir as the Dravidian stock has demolished over 150 temples in the last 7 months and the anti-Hindu government denied public from visiting Tiruchendur. Raja accused the government of looting temples and that there has been no reply despite complaining with the Police department and a copy to the Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Sekar Babu. The court has ordered digitizing the temple documents for which the EOs have been asked for money, which Raja termed illegal.

He said, 'Temple money cannot be transferred and the demand for grants from the Charitable Endowments Department have been put on hold in court.' Adding that he was visiting Thillai Natarajan Temple in two days, he stated that Hindus are facing more difficulties than Kashmir under Sheikh Abdullah.

He questioned as to why did not the party attend Manikandan’s death, but were present at the Sathankulam issue and stated that the government is taking on a bullying anti-democratic regime in Tamil Nadu that suppresses dissent.

He added that a complaint has been forwarded to the police chief on WhatsApp, but there has been no response since.
