Coimbatore: Jamal Mohammad is a resident of the Palathurai Pirivu area next to Madukkarai in Coimbatore. His 21-year-old daughter Sultana Parveen was engaged to be married last year to Yusuf Ali of Ramanathapuram district. However, the marriage was called off due to a disagreement between the two families. Following this, Yusuf Ali continued to harass the fiance into marrying him. Sultana Parveen lodged a complaint at the Keelakarai Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. An investigation is also underway into the complaint.
