Tirupur: Commemorating the 75th Independence year and to spread awareness on the protection of women, a cyclathon was conducted on Friday in Tirupur.
The Corporation Commissioner Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS flagged off the event. Men, Women, and children participated in the event. They covered 8 km with their bicycles starting from the corporation office. Awareness on Covid, vaccination, protection of women, and the 75th independence year was embraced in the event.
Participants were provided participation certificates by the Corporation Commissioner.
