Coimbatore: Monitoring officers appointed for districts in Tamilnadu as the North East Monsoon is expected to arrive soon.
The Northeast monsoon, which was expected to begin on the 20th is likely to arrive before that. The ghat sections are alerted and officers have been appointed for the districts. It has been directed that the public be issued a warning.
The Covid Prevention Officers have been reappointed as the monitoring officers in Coimbatore, Erode, Nilgiris, and Tirupur. Muruganantham has been appointed as the North East Monsoon Monitoring Officer of Coimbatore District, Supriya Sahu for Nilgiris, Kakarla Usha for Erode, and Gopal for Tirupur
