The man lost control over his two-wheeler; skidded and hit the barrier on Sathyamangalam road in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A young construction worker was killed on Sunday night when his two-wheeler crashed into a barrier right in the middle of Sathyamangalam road, in Coimbatore limits.
Saravanan alias Sappani Madasamy (19) was working as a construction worker in Virudhunagar district. Saravanan lost control of his two-wheeler while passing a flyover on Sathyamangalam road and hit a barrier. He was reportedly thrown off his two-wheeler. Passers-by rushed Saravanan to Coimbatore Government Hospital where he succumbed despite immediate medicaltreatment.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
