Coimbatore: A mega Covid-19 vaccination camp is being conducted in Coimbatore district to ensure 100 percent vaccination in the district. Accordingly, the second phase of vaccination camp was held on Sunday, at 15 places in Kinathukadavu taluk. The first and second doses of Covishield and Covaxin vaccine were administered to 2451 people at the special camp.
Some who had been enthusiastic in turning up to get their jabs had to return disappointed since there was not enough vaccine stock available during the second phase special camp, unlike the first camp.
