Veteran sailors participated in the annual day celebrations and encouraged the young sailors in training.
Coimbatore: The Indian Naval Station(INS) Agrani commemorated its 56th anniversary on Saturday. Celebrations were held at the naval base at Red Fields in Coimbatore.
The Commanding Officer, Ashok Raj spoke of the origin and legacies of the base. INS has been training and equipping proficient sailors with top leadership and management skills, since its inception. The sailors who have emerged out of this institution have laid a strong base at the Indian Navy till date.
