Coimbatore: A 50-year old woman died a gory death in Chinniyampalayam when she was trying to cross the road and was hit by a vehicle. More vehicles reportedly ran over her continuously leaving the woman crushed.
The tragic accident happened near a hospital in Peelamedu on Monday morning. The Transport Crime Division East recovered the woman's body and sent the corpse to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
The deceased has not been unidentified yet. The police have registered a case and investigations are on.
