Murugan, 58, a cobbler lives with his family, wife Rangammal, son Thangaraj, daughter Velmani, daughter-in-law Kasturi, and 2 granddaughters in the Urumandampalayam, ward 43 Jeeva Road.
There was continuous rain in the area. The family had been sleeping in the front room in the house while at the back the roof fell off, this morning. No one was injured. The police and rescue team immediately rushed to the scene and assured immediate actions
