Pregnant woman gives birth to a boy in 108 ambulance near Pollachi: People appreciate medical team

Pregnant woman who was on her way to hospital for labour delivered a boy on the way in 108 ambulance near Pollachi.


Coimbatore: Muthupandi, a resident of Ponnegavundanur near Pollachi is married and his wife is Devi (22). She was pregnant and her husband informed 108 Ambulance that she was having labor pains yesterday. The 108 ambulance crews then rushed there to pick up Devi who was suffering with labour pains.

But as the labour pains increased for Devi on the way to the hospital, the emergency medical expert Vinodini delivered the infant in the ambulance. Devi gave birth to a male child and both were later given first aid and admitted to Pollachi Government Hospital. The public has praised the medical team who safely delivered the baby in the ambulance.
