Marxist party member and his wife write a will handing over their wealth to the Party in Coimbatore

The couple stated that the party will take care of them


Coimbatore:Tulsidas-Malarkodi, a couple from Thondamuthur, Coimbatore handed over a will of their wealth to the Marxist party.

A house worth 40 lakhs and certain assets they possessed were given to the party leaders.

Comrade Tulsidas was one of the earliest leaders and pioneersof the Tamil Nadu Electrical Employees Central Organisation. Comrade Tulsidas served as the Thoothukudi District Secretary of the Electrical Employees Central Organization and bringing together the Tuticorin Harbour Association with the CITU's late head V P Chintan.

Post his retirement, the family shifted to, Thondamuthuur and stayed regularly.

Comrade Tulsidas has 2 daughters and three sons, and the sons are mentally retarded. The family was closely associated with the late Marxist party state executive member K Thangavelu.



Tulsidas and Malarkodi offered the will to leaders including Marxist Party political leadership member G Ramakrishnan, Coimbatore MP, P.R Natarajan, district secretary V Ramamurthy and state committee member C Padmanabhan on Tuesday.

The couple stated that “Rather than relying on the schemes introduced by the government or depending on somebody else, we are more than happy to rely on the party post my retirement.” G. Ramakrishnan, a member of the CPM Political Bureau, received the will and lauded the act of Comrade Tulasidas.
