Coimbatore: An EB connection was established in the name of Saraswati, Tulasiammal Layout, falling under Peelamedu east EB office.
Saraswati had passed away and the EB box was recently transferred by the electricity board officers, East Division, Peelamedu
However, the officers did not obtain consent from the deceased heirs, nor was the name of the owner was changed.
In view of this, N.Logu, Coimbatore Consumer Voice Organization filed a petition to the Chief Engineer stating the confusion, which happened with the knowledge of the officers at the Peelamedu, East Division, Saibaba Colony, and Thaneer Pandal areas.
