Coimbatore: 2 men followed a couple in the night in Negamam-Vadachithoor road and snatch 2 sovereign chain from the woman. Vellangiri and his wife Anandi(54), had visited his place near Vadachittur and were heading back to a relative’s house in North Chittoor in a two-wheeler at night.
Unidentified men, who were following them on a two-wheeler, snatched 2 sovereign gold chains from Anandi's neck and escaped. The couple lodged a complaint with Negamam police yesterday, and they are looking for the robbers.
