The accused was brought in for his hearing for a murder case; police are on with the investigation
Coimbatore: Three were arrested last year for murdering Vinoth Kumar during a local festival in Ammankulam.
Cases were registered and the accused were brought to the special court for the case hearing.
The three were ambushed at the court premises out of which 2 were stabbed and one fled from the spot. Vijayakumar, the first accused in the case, and Hariharan, the third accused, were both injured after being stabbed in an attack outside the court.
This created chaos in the court and the sessions were disturbed. Police have registered the case and are on the lookout for the escapee
