Coimbatore DMK member Vishnu Prabhu files complaint with District SP over death threats issued by AIADMK members

Coimbatore DMK member Vishnu Prabhu has lodged a complaint with the SP S Selvanagarathinam over death threats being issued by AIADMK members for leaving the AIADMK party.

Coimbatore: Vishnu Prabhu, a former AIADMK leader and now a member of the DMK has lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, S Selvanagarathinam.

Vishnuprabhu from Coimbatore who recently resigned his post as the State Vice-president of the AIADMK and joined the DMK stated in his complaint to the SP that when the raids were being conducted by DVAC sleuths on all of former AIADMK Minister S P Velumani's properties and also on those closely related to him, he had revealed various startling information about S P Velumani in a newspaper interview. Vishnu Prabhu revealed that money was being sent to various places from the luxury bungalow in Anaikatti area and that the place was functioning as a hoarding center.

Sharmila Priya, a close supporter of S P Velumani had reportedly lodged a false complaint against Vishnu Prabhu at the Sholayur police station in Kerala after which the supporters of S P Velumani allegedly began issuing death threats against Vishnu Prabhu and his family. Following this, Vishnu Prabhu told reporters of a newspaper that Sharmila Priya, the owner of a luxury bungalow in the state of Kerala, had lodged a false complaint against him at the police station and that an investigation into the identity of Sharmila Priya would reveal various startling information in the case.

Vishnu Prabhu then said that he had various documents regarding the tender fraud of former Minister S P Velumani and that those documents would be released when necessary. He had reportedly shared the relevant documents with more than ten of his friends and when required, all the tender documents would be released to the police or in the presence of the media.

Vishnu Prabhu also alleged that while the luxury bungalow in the state of Kerala was said to be owned by former Minister SP Velumani and those close to him, the complaint now being lodged by Sharmila Priya against Vishnu Prabhu needs an inquiry and her true identity needs to be revealed.
