11-year old boy who accompanied friends to fish in a well near Subramanian temple in Coimbatore slipped into the well and died tragically.

Police report that Venkatesh's son Vetri who is 11 years old went fishing with friends and cast their bait in a well near Subramanian temple in Coimbatore. He reportedly slipped into the well suddenly and drowned leaving his friends were shocked.
Upon receiving information, Coimbatore South Fire Station Officer Velusamy led firemen to the spot who jumped into the well and searched for the boy's body. After finding the boy dead, they tied his body to a rope and lifted him out of the well. Kuniamuthur police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
