DMK cadres petition Dist. Revenue Officer seeking removal of fallen tree in woman's house in Ganapathy

A petition was filed with the Dist. Revenue Officer on behalf of the DMK to immediately remove a fallen tree on a woman's house which had been uprooted due to strong winds and heavy rains in Ganapathy area in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: A petition has been filed on behalf of the DMK with the District Revenue Officer to immediately remove a fallen tree on a woman's house which had been uprooted owing to strong winds and heavy rains that lashed Ganapathy area in Coimbatore.

Mallika lives on Kasturbai Road, 46th Circle, Ganapathy, South District, Coimbatore. The tree near her house collapsed due to strong winds. With her daily normal life affected, the woman repeatedly petitioned the Corporation but no action was taken.

Mallika then appealed to Ganapathy Sampath Kumar, a member of the DMK Ganapathy Area 46th Circle Responsibility Committee. Following this, Ganapathy Sampath Kumar submitted a petition to the Coimbatore District Revenue Officer, P S Leela Alex demanding for the fallen tree at Mallika's house to be immediately cleared.

Ganapathy Area Responsibility Committee Member, Ganapathy Murugesan, Student Wing memeber Dharma, Youth Wing member Jagadeesh, Kamaraj and many others were present while submitting the petition. The Revenue Officer who received the petition promised to take immediate action.
