Checking and inspection carried out severely as Covid cases report high in the neighbouring state.
Valparai: Due to the immense spread of Covid in Kerala, the bordering areas like solaiyar dam, next to valparai, the Mankulaparai tea plantations were inspected today. Heavy restrictions have been imposed for those entering the city through the Kerala border. Babu Lakshmanan, health department Chief Physician, Valparai Block Resource Centre,imposed strict restrictions on the movement of people from Kerala to Valparai area. The officers at the check post were instructed to adhere strenuous checking of vehicles.
