Advocate Vijaykumar files case on behalf of client against Dinesh who is ex-minister Thangamani's son-in-law for land grabbing in Tirupur
Tirupur: A case has been filed against Dinesh, the son-in-law of ex-minister Thangamani at the Office of the Deputy Chairman for Registration in Coimbatore.
Sanjaykumar Reddy who owns 2.26 acres of land in Kandayan Kovil Village in Tirupur South Taluk had requested for a loan of Rs. 50 lakhs from Dinesh in return for his land being registered Dinesh's cousin's name. Sanjaykumar obtained an amount of Rs. 20,39,00 based on the value of his land. The deal agreed upon was that Dinesh would return the land once Sanjaykumar pays back the obtained loan.

It is reported that meanwhile, Dinesh had been attempting to sell the land to a third party which Sanjaykumar objected to. "Though he stated that he would pay back the loan amount, Dinesh and his cousin refused to return the land documents. A case has now been filed to make the land registration null and void so as to reclaim the land," stated lawyer Vijaykumar in a media briefing.
