Forest officers rescued the animal and sent it to a treatment center.
Valparai: A bear trapped itself in a tree in Valparai, Water Fall Estate. The public rushed to the spot after hearing disturbing noises in the neighborhood.
They saw a bear trapped in a tree with its hands stuck and immediately informed the Forest Department officers. The officers rescued the animal in the midst of chaos as two more bears were in the surrounding causing disturbance to the people of Valparai.
Later the rescue squad brought the animal down from the tree after injecting it. Upon checking, the bear had an injured left hand.
It was later put in a cage and sent to treatment safely.
The bear will later be left into the woods after complete treatment.
