State-of-the-art Makerspace Campus Opening at Sri Easwar College of Engineering, Kondampatti, Near Kinathukadavu

Coimbatore: The inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed state-of-the-art Makerspace Campus at Sri Easwar College of Engineering in Kondampatti near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore District was held today.


Coimbatore: The inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed state-of-the-art Makerspace Campus at Sri Easwar College of Engineering in Kondampatti near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore District was held today.

Balakumar, Vice President, Engineering, VVDN Technologies, cut the ribbon and inaugurated the Sri Easwar Makerspace Complex as a special guest at the event.



Welcoming all at the function, the Principal of the College, Sudha Mohanram, said that all facilities have been made available on the campus to enhance the technical skills of the students and make them better projects in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and IoT. Following this, Balakumar, the special guest of the function, spoke and appreciated the efforts of the college to identify the needs of the industry and cater to them through appropriate syllabi and similar labs.



Speaking on the occasion, Rajaram, Director of the College, said that the campus has a seating capacity of about 100 people, as well as a dedicated section for training and projects in IoT technology, as well as a discussion forum and rooms for teachers to oversee projects. Kannan Narasimhan, Director of Industrial Relations of the College, spoke on the list of various initiatives taken by the College to identify and meet the needs of the industry. At the end of the ceremony, Professor Shanmugasundaram of the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering of the College thanked the participants.
