Coimbatore: India's 75th Independence Day was celebrated at the Valparai police station with Valparai Police Inspector Karpagam hoisting the national flag amidst other police personnel participating in the event.



Sweets were distributed and breakfast was served to the front field staff and municipality officials. Similarly, at the Government High School in Valparai area, the Tahsildar hoisted the national flag as well as at various locations, including the fire station.
