At the Tahsildhar's office in Valparai, Tahsildhar S Raja hoisted the national flag and distributed sweets. Municipality Commissioner Suresh Kumar paid homage to the Gandhi statue after hoisting the national flag at the Valparai Municipality Office.

The event was attended by many including Health Inspector Selvaraj, followed by sweet distribution.



Similarly, at the Valparai police station, Inspector Karpagam hoisted the national flag at 9 am on Sunday, followed by a police parade.
