Coimbatore Police rehearse for the 75th Independence Day parade at the VOC grounds in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Coimbatore police participated in the Independence Day parade rehearsal at the VOC grounds.
Even as the country celebrates its 75th Independence Day across the country on August 15, in Coimbatore, District Collector Sameeran will hoist the national flag at the VOC grounds and accept the police parade of honour.
It will be followed by performances, dance and patriotic songs by college students. The District Collector will also present medals and certificates of appreciation to martyrs and achievers during the freedom struggle.
In preparation for the grand 75th Independence Day celebrations, the Coimbatore City and District Police comprising more than 300 male and female police, rehearsed their parades at the VOC grounds.
