Meanwhile, Murugesan, who has been appointed as the dean of Tirupur Government Hospital, has been dealing with hostility towards the nurses working there. More than 50 nurses today staged a protest on the premises of a government hospital, alleging that assistant resident doctors Vinod and Senthil were speaking inappropriate words and even denying room for nurses to change clothes.

Tirupur Government Hospital has 174 permanent nurses, 51 contract nurses and 22 temporary nurses. Hospital Dean Murugesan and Associate Resident Doctors Vinod and Senthil give us extra work and speak inappropriately causing stress.

They also refuse to give women nurses a changing room during working hours. Nurses are being forced to leave work and do other work. They are handling them with hostility and refuse to heed to their demands. They therefore protested today, urging the Tamil Nadu government to take action to relocate Dean Murugesan and deputy resident doctors Vinod and Senthil.
