On Anaimalai-Kottur Road, near the Aliyar flyover, the film crew stood alongside a large crowd that was not wearing masks or adhering to social distancing norms.
Complaints were aplenty about the film crew stating that the filming had taken place with a large crowd that flouted all Covid-19 prevention norms. Police thus registered a case against 30 members of the film crew, including director Sibi Chakravathy at the Anaimalai police station for filming a large crowd without any permission. The film crew was fined Rs. 19,400 on behalf of the Revenue Department for violating curfew rules.
