Leopards prey on domesticated animals such as sheep, chickens and dogs in Valparai. This has caused panic among people. At around 8 am, a leopard snuck into a tea estate near a residence in the Kamarajar Nagar area of Valparai and slowly approached the residences.
Seeing this, the youths in the area took pictures on their cell phones and posted them on social media. The video of the leopard lurking in the tea garden is currently going viral.
