Air India launches 'Bonded Truck' service at Coimbatore Airport

For first time in India, a 'Bonded Truck' service was launched by Air India at Coimbatore Airport on Tuesday.


Coimbatore: For the first time in India, Air India launched the Bonded Truck Service at Coimbatore International Airport on Tuesday.

Usually, goods to be exported from Coimbatore will be transported by road to airports in cities including Bangalore and Kochi. From there, it gets exported to various parts of the world through airline services.

In particular, in cities such as Coimbatore, where international air transportation is scarce, such 'Bonded Truck service' will now be useful to export goods to various parts of the world.
