Scheme to provide lunch to poor common people in Selvapuram area - ex-Minister S. B. Velumani started!
Coimbatore: AIADMK ex-minister in Coimbatore Selvapuram area SP Velumani launched a program to provide lunch to the poor and common people in the Selvapuram area. He served food to more than 5-thousand people and these were reported to continue every afternoon. SP Velumani, a former minister and AIADMK MLA in Coimbatore, today launched a lunch program to benefit more than 10,000 people.
Former Minister and AIADMK MLA SP Velumani presented a lunch program for more than 10,000 people at various places including Selvapuram, NSK Road, Rangasamy colony, Rangasamy Road, 60 ft Road in the Thondamuthur Assembly constituency in Coimbatore. Former Minister SP Velumani inaugurated the lunch program especially for the frontline sanitary workers, the general public and the underprivileged. Kabasura water was also provided to boost the immune system to protect people from infection.
