Coimbatore District Collector strikes emotional chord in family of differently-abled boy by simple act of helping boy put on shoes



Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin recently launched a program to provide welfare schemes to unorganised workers in Chennai.

As part of the program, the Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran inaugurated the program on Friday for 1500 beneficiaries at the District Collectorate.

During the event, the Collector distributed welfare schemes worth Rs. 19.3 lakhs to 1500 beneficiaries. He took time to reach out to a differently-abled boy and helped the boy put on shoes, which left his family teary-eyed and emotional. The public lauded the Collector's compassionate nature.
