The brothers drowned while fishing in a rock pit


Coimbatore: Palani is from the Golden Nagar area of Tirupur. His sons are Satya (13) and Kumaran (11). The two school students went fishing to a stone pit near the house. Parents have been searching for the boys since they did not return home until late at night. The bicycle the boys went on and their clothes were near the cliff and the fire department was immediately notified.



Firefighters rushed to the scene and found the two boys dead in the stone pit. Tirupur North police said the boys may have been died when they went tried to take off a fishing hook when it got trapped. A case has been registered in this regard and an investigation is underway.
