Tirupur: BSNL workers' unions in Tirupur went on a hunger strike demanding that BSNL towers be upgraded to provide 4G services and work on 5G services be started.


Tirupur: BSNL workers' unions in Tirupur went on a hunger strike demanding that BSNL towers be upgraded to provide 4G services and work on 5G services be started.

They urged to immediately launch 4G service by upgrading BSNL towers across the country and improve the steps to build 5G service.



All the employees of the BSNL office in Royapuram, Tirupur area went on a hunger strike demanding various things including that BSNL employees and officers should be paid on the last day of the month and BSNL should not attempt to sell optical fiber and towers to the private sector.
