Workers praise Deputy Collector's humanitarian work in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: The Sub Collector inquired about the health of the workers who were injured when the building where construction is in progress collapsed in Valparai yesterday. Workers Regita, Shanti, Baby, Sujatha and Emima who were in Manika Estate near Valparai in Coimbatore district was picking tea leaves in the NC area when the roof suddenly collapsed. They are now being treated at Stanmore Hospital.



Pollachi Sub Collector Thackeray Subam Gnanadevra, who had come to inspect the Valparai area, Valparai District Tahsildhar Rajan and VAO Amirtha Raj visited the injured workers in person and offered relief aid to them. Workers praised the Sub collector's humanitarian efforts to attend to them personally.
