Tirupur: An unidentified male deadbody was found burnt near Vanathottam pond near the Tasmac store in Karanampettai next to the Palladam in Tirupur district. The public who saw it informed the Palladam police and when police arrived at the scene, they found a male dead body with only the face and abdomen burnt. His identity was not confirmed and an investigation is underway into whether he was killed on the spot and burnt or was killed in another place and was brought and burnt here. Palladam DSP Vetrichelvan and Tirupur District Superintendent of Police Sasang Sai visited the spot and sent the body by ambulance for autopsy. SP Sasang Sai has ordered to set up special police team to be set up soon to catch the culprits.
