The Rotary Club of Coimbatore West is to set up a free examination centre in Ramnagar to aid students overcome internet connectivity issues
Coimbatore: College students appearing for exams and others appearing for competitive exams can finally heave a sigh of relief with regard to internet connectivity.
The Rotary Club of Coimbatore West has decided to set up a free examination centre at Kalidas Road in Ramnagar which will be equipped with high speed internet, power backup, fans and lights. This noble initiative by one of the Rotary Club members was lauded by many.
Goodwin Saravanaraj, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore West stated that the move was to help those students and others who had no proper internet facility to appear for exams. “There are many students who are unable to appear for exams due to poor internet connectivity and some even complain that they were unable to submit their answers at the end due to power shortage or some other problem. So to sort it out, the Center has been set up," said Goodwin Saravanraj.
The Centre can be accessed by students and others by registering with the person available at the Centre and can be used at a nominal cost. It is set up in a way that as many as 14 people can use it at one time.
