People vaccinated against Covid-19 despite heavy rains in Kinathukadavu


Coimbatore: A Covid vaccination drive was held on Thursday at four places in Chettipalayam, Kattampatti, Kinathukkadavu town and Singaiyanputhur after four days. Information on the vaccination was given to the public this morning and people gathered in large numbers at all the centers.



Tokens were issued on a first come first serve basis. The first and second doses of the Covid vaccines were administered. Braving the heavy rains in Kinnathukadavu since this morning, the public stood in long queues to get vaccinated. More people gathered and demanded for vaccine tokens which caused a slight disturbance in the area.
