Raids at properties of former AIADMK Minister: AIADMK bigwigs allege DMK Government as vengeful

AIADMK party bigwigs condemn M K Stalin-led DMK Government's vengeful politics

Coimbatore: The AIADMK Party Coordinator and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, O Panneerselvam and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K. Palanisamy jointly briefed the media saying, "The Stalin-led DMK has come to power by making false promises during the election.

The Government is not focussing on fulfilling the promises made to the people of Tamil Nadu during the election and on development projects, but only retaliating against the opposition party. It is especially reprehensible that the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's image is being tarnished by the police.

The Stalin-led DMK Government has various charges pending against several of their ministers. DMK ministers have been booked and arrested on various charges and are currently awaiting trial in court but are out on bail. In order to divert attention, the Ministers deliberately fabricated false allegations and the Government backing this is condemnable. What happened to the promises made at the time of the election? The DMK, which has failed to deliver on its election promises and is incapable of carrying out development projects, has in a short period of time become disappointing by failing to meet the expectations of the people. The Government is only trying to divert people's attention," they alleged.

"The DMK has a history of dreaming that the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam can be destroyed and that can only be a daydream. Party President M K Stalin should know that AIADMK is a movement that has endured all such difficulties. The DMK wants to threaten former Minister M R Vijayabhaskar by sending the police to raid his house. We express our strong condemnation of the DMK government. The party will support former minister M R Vijayabhaskar and we will deal with this anarchy of the Stalin government with the support of the volunteers, both legally and politically," slammed the AIADMK bigwigs.
