Five injured in a head-on collision between a passenger auto and a car near Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: Padmavathi (48) is from Arasampalayam area near Kinathukadavu. Her mother Mayilathal (65) and relatives Maheshwari (36) and Sundarambal (60) were traveling in a passenger auto from Arasampalayam area to visit their relative Rangammal in Sokkanur area last evening. Manikandan (26) was driving the auto. On the way from Kinathukadavu to Sokkanur, a speeding car collided with an auto on the way to Chikkalampalayam. Five people, including Padmavathi, who was in the auto were injured. The injured were rushed to Pollachi Government Hospital by ambulance
