BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan opines that Kongunadu state will come into force based on how the Government fulfills the demands of the people.

Coimbatore: BJP's Coimbatore South Assembly member Vanathi Srinivasan has opined that the Kongunadu state will emerge based on how the State Government fulfills the demands of the people of the Kongu area in the coming days.

BJP's Coimbatore South Assembly member Vanathi Srinivasan who was present at the auditor Ramesh's memorial meeting at the BJP office in Sidhapudur, Coimbatore, met the media and said that the murdered auditor Ramesh had not yet received justice.

She said the case should be expedited and the culprits arrested.

"It is also reported that a few people take the vaccines given by the Central Government and give them to a private hospital. We are gathering evidence for that. The State Government should focus on this matter. We also demand that the State Government pay for the vaccines immediately. In Coimbatore, temples have been demolished to make way for the city under the Smart City project. These temples must be built elsewhere or nearby, to protect the religious sentiments of the people. Also, the Central Government will release the truth about the investigation going on about eavesdropping on telephones," she added.

Vanathi Srinivasan also said, "We have no intention of dividing Tamil Nadu. The needs and development of the people of the Kongu region have been a long-standing demand and hence the Kongunadu state may come into force based on how the State Government fulfills the demand of these people in the coming days."
