Neighbors suspected that he was from Bangladesh and informed the police. Following this, Thirumuruganpoondi police conducted an investigation. It was revealed that Mohammad Sohal Rana hails from Navahale district in Bangladesh.
He also revealed that the address of West Bengal State North 24 Parganas District was fake. Following this, Thirumuruganpoondi police arrested him last night and are continuing to interrogate him. Other people who were in contact with him are also being investigated as to whether anyone else was staying with him in the house.
