Devotees will be allowed to conduct monthly rituals during the 5 days until July 21. All preventive measures including wearing of masks and social distancing, will be strictly followed. A maximum of 5,000 devotees will be allowed through the online booking system.
Devotees have to submit vaccination certificates for both doses or a negative RT-PCR report within 48 hours of the visit. Kerala had imposed lockdown from April and still cases are high and the state is still continuing weekend lockdowns. Currently. daily cases are between 10,000 to 15,000.
The Union health ministry said 13,773 cases were reported on Thursday and there 1,22,436 active cases in the state. The state reported 29,93,242 recoveries and 15,155 deaths. 1,64,86,091 doses of vaccination have been administered so far, including 1,19,18,696 first doses and 45,67,395 second doses.
