Post 'Covid-19' second wave outbreak, only 'Air Arabia' was providing services between Coimbatore-Sharjah. Until June 15, only one flight was operated every week. From June 16, two weekly flights were operated. At present, since passenger movement has slowly started to increase, 'Air Arabia' has introduced three weekly flight services.
"Previously only two flights were operated each week between Coimbatore-Sharjah. Now, three flight services per week are being operated on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays. More cargo booking continues on these flights. If the Covid situation gets better, the flight services will be increased in the upcoming months," said aviation sources. "Until July 26, only incoming passengers are allowed and passengers will not be allowed to travel from Coimbatore to Sharjah," they added.
