MDMK District Secretary condemns call to create separate state called Kong Nadu of Western districts for political gain


Coimbatore: In a press release by MDMK, the District Secretary R R Mohan Kumar said, "Tamil Nadu is a state nurtured by Thanthai Periyar, Aringnar Anna, Kamaraj and Dr. Kalaignar.

Newspapers, visual and social media platforms have condemned the plans of miscreants to create a separate state called Kongu Nadu, which includes the western districts of Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore.

The people of Tamil Nadu will never accept this action of creating politics of hatred among the people of Tamil Nadu who live in peace and harmony. The plan will never succeed in the Western region which has all kinds of industries, prosperous agriculture, excellent medical infrastructure and excellent educational institutions. On behalf of the Coimbatore District MDMK, the people of Tamil Nadu will overcome this action done for political gain," he added.
