Coimbatore Ganapathy Sathy Road is always busy. This morning, the signal was re-installed at the Test Bridge landing and Sanganoor Road junction, Sathyamangalam Road. In the middle of the road they set up a ladder and the staff removed the old signal and replaced it with the new signal.
Since it was peak hours in the morning, government employees and commuters from both sides were unable to travel due to long traffic jams. The public commented that it would be better to do such work at night. It is to be noted that the work of setting up this new signal caused traffic disruption in the area for more than an hour.
