Appreciation ceremony was held for Home Guards who served well during the coronavirus period at a private hall in Pollachi.
Coimbatore: An appreciation ceremony was held yesterday at a private hall in Pollachi, Coimbatore Road in honour of the Home Guards who served the public diligently during the Covid-19 pandemic. Pollachi DSP Tamilmani attended and distributed uniforms to 62 Home Guards, and 14 of them who served well during the coronavirus period were gifted incentives. Lunch was also provided to participants on behalf of the Vinayaga Trust.
