Vaccination against Covid-19 for pregnant women begins in Coimbatore Corporation

Coimbatore: Vaccination against Covid-19 for pregnant women residing in Coimbatore Corporation areas began on Tuesday at 32 urban Primary Health Centers.


Coimbatore: Vaccination against Covid-19 for pregnant women residing in Coimbatore Corporation areas began on Tuesday at 32 urban Primary Health Centers.

On the very first day, 312 pregnant women were vaccinated.

Vaccination of pregnant mothers will continue on a daily basis at all primary health centers. Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Raja Gopal Sunkara stated that all pregnant women should avail this opportunity to be vaccinated.
